Gloster "Mars" VI Nighthawk

The first order of Gloster "Mars" VI Nighthawk interceptor, constructed by Great Britain, was in 1922, in order to confront the serious lack of available interceptor planes during the Asia Minor campaign. They were received in January of 1923 and by April of the same year equipped the 5th Fighter Squadron, which was especially created for the "Mars". Until 1935, it was the only type of interceptor in service. Later, they were used for advanced training by the Air Force Academy.
