Hawker Horsley Mk II
In December of 1929, 6 Horsley were delivered to the Naval Air Force. They had the ability to carry the impressive for that time, load of 2150lbs. In an act of good will, a few months after the sign of the Balkan Treaty, 3 Horsleys visited most of the Balkan capitals. This operation (July 1934) was known as the "Tour of the Balkans " and was accomplished by experienced crews, graduates of the Air Navigation Center. In the final years of their service, were used for training purposes until the beginning of WW II. Technical Specifications:
