Avia B-534 (verze II)

The Avia B-534 (verse II) was the classic representative of the last generation of interceptor biplanes that appeared in the Great War. 2 Avia B-534 (verse II) airplanes donated to the Air Force by the expatriate from Egypt G. Koutarelis in August 1936. Upon the delivery at Dekeleia Air Base they were named Koutarelis I and II. Their construction markings were 1001 - 1002.

From 1937, enlisted to the 1st Flight of the ×× Interceptor Squadron at Sedes Air Base. Until the delivery of the P.24, they were the most battle-worthy interceptors of the Air Force. It is mentionned that the Avia B-534 from 1937 to 1940 were used for operational training purposes.
