The Avro 626 was a 3-seater, advanced training airplane, builded by the British, that was used between 1937 - 1941. It was a model for export, especially designed for the Balkan countries, that in some sources is mistaken with the RAF 2-seater Avro Prefect. The Avro 626 used in 10 different training configurations, with the 2- member crew occupying 2 of the 3 seats depending the equipment it was carrying (camera, photomachine gun, radio etc.).
They were mainly used in "combat training" as they called it, equipped with a rotating machine gun for the observer, camera or other equipment according to its configuration. Some of them were armed with training bomb rails.
