Bloch MB.151

Although the Bloch MB.151 French interceptor was one of the latest designs of the '30s, could not be competitive because the Gnome Rhone 14 engine that was carrying was his weak spot. It was known as a second line of defence type and was assigned with training dutes. Only 9 of them were delivered to Greece from a total order of 20 airplanes.

The Bloch MB.151 enlisted to the 24th Interceptor Squadron with original assignment the defence of Athens. They were mainly but limited used to the country's mainland due to the lack of spare parts.
