Airspeed Oxford Mk I/Mk II

Another airplane type, part of the British post-war help to Greece, was the Airspeed Oxford Mk I/Mk II, lightweight twin-engine transporter. Their presence is firstly traced during August of 1945. In September 9th 1947, 13 Oxford were enlisted, while a number of them were equipped with bomb rails Also 2 Oxford had photographic equipment installed and along with 2 T-6 with the same equipment consisted the main photoreconnaissance airplane group of Greek Air Force.

It was used for photoreconnaissance purposes till the end of the Civil war. It is unknown if it was used for multiengine advanced training purposes, role which was originally designed for by the British.
