TOR M1

Description

The TOR-M1 system is of Russian origin an has been operational with HAF since 2001.

It is a short-range (SHORAD) self-propelled tracked anti-aircraft all-weather system.

The system encompasses into a turret a search and track RADAR, a fire control system and a missile launcher system.

The syztem provides anti-aircraft defense capability to tactical and strategic targets by engaging aircraft and missiles in low and medium altitudes.

The system has a 25km range search and track RADAR augmented with a tracking TV Camera. The launcher system has 2 quadruple missile launchers.
