Memorial Ceremony in Honour of Captain (AF) Konstantinos Iliakis   (23/5/2012)

On Wednesday, May 23 2012, a memorial service and wreath-laying ceremony were held at "Captain (AF) Konstantinos Iliakis" memorial, on Karpathos island.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of National Defence, Mr. Frangoulis Frangos, the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr. Vyron Polydoras, the leader of the political party "Anexartiti Hellenes" (Independent Greeks), Mr. Panos Kammenos, the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General (AF), Antonios Tsantirakis, as well as by members of the Hellenic Parliament, the local authorities, the military and religious authorities and a large assemblage of people.
