Joint One-Day Meeting held at the HAFA   (24/5/2012)

On Wednesday, 23 May 2012, at the Hellenic Air Force Academy (HAFA), Dekeleia Air Base, in Tatoi, took place the joint one-day Meeting to discuss: "Operational Use of Space for Security and Safety purposes: Developments and Challenges for Greece".

The meeting was organized by the Aviation Science Department of the Hellenic Air Force Academy, in the frame of annual activities of the Joint Council Higher Military Educational Institution.

In the meeting, participated a large number of speakers from the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Citizen Protection, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks, the Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Joint Rescue Coordination Center, the Hellenic National Meteorological Service and the Public Relations Department of Panteion University. Furthermore, students of the Hellenic Air force Academy, delegations of the the Hellenic Army and the Hellenic Navy Academy, military delegations and representatives of the Academic Community attended the meeting.
