Baby Boy Born in a 384 SAR SQ Super Puma Baptized by its Pilot   (26/6/2012)

Theophilaktos-Hermes Kalogiros who was born on a Super Puma helicopter from 112 Combat Wing/384 SAR Squadron while his mother was being evacuated on March, 8th 2012, was baptized on Sunday, 24th 2012 at Chrysopigi Church, on Sifnos island.

The godfather was the helicopter Commander, Captain (AF) Theodoros Chamilos, who-along with Second Lieutenant (AF) Akis Kassimis, the helicopter engineer on the day the baby was born, and on behalf of 348 SAR Squadron personnel - wished the little boy all the best.

The baptism ceremony was also attended by the Mayor if Sifnos island, Andreas Mpampounis.
