Major General Christos Charitos is the Deputy Chief HAFGS

Major General Christos Charitos was born in Serres in 1956. He graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1978 as a Second Lieutenant.

Upon his graduation, he received his first commission at 113 Combat Wing/343 Squadron, as a pilot in F-5A/B aircraft.

During his military career he served in many positions within the Air Force and NATO.
