Major General Stavros Kavasakalis

Major General Stavros Kavasakalis was born on 9 September 1949 in Xanthi. He entered the Military Medical Academy in 1967 and graduated in 1973, obtaining his MD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with ‘Excellent’, at the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.

Major General Stavros Kavasakalis participated for many years in the training of Internal Medicine residents. He participated in many Greek, European and International Conferences with scientific papers and announcements.
