GDFPS Financial Director

Major General Evaggelos Latsios

Major General Evangelos Latsios was born at Galatini, Voiou county, prefecture of Kozani, in 1953.
He finished his Secondary Education in the “Trapantzeio” High School of Siatista.

He entered the Corps Officers Military Academy in 1972 and graduated as a Second Lieutenant in 1976.
He has a degree in the School of Economics / Faculty of Law, Economics and Political Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Assignements

During his military career, he has served in Major Commands and the General Staff of HAF.
He currently is the Financial Director in the General Directorate of Financial Planning and Support (GDFPS), in the Ministry of Defense.

Training

During his career, he has attended all schools required by his expertise as well as a Seminar on the Cost-Profit Analysis, held by the National Technical University of Athens.
He has recently taken part in the 7th European Conference regarding the Cooperation of Public-Private Sector, which was organized in Athens.

Major Awards and Decorations

He has been awarded with all medals and decorations corresponding to his rank.

Marital Status

Evangelos Latsios is married and a father of two children.
