Chief of German Air Force visit to Greece

The Chief of the German Air Force Lt. Gen. Klaus Peter Stieglitz visited Greece between 4 and 7 July 2005 following a formal invitation by his Greek counterpart Lt. Gen. George Avlonitis.

During his stay Lt. Gen. Stieglitz had meetings with Defense Minister Mr. Spilios Spiliotopoulos and with the Chief of National Defense General Staff Admiral Panagiotis Chinofotis. He also visited the Akropolis of Athens as well as other archaeological sites in Attika nad Heraklion, Crete. He flew with F-16 Block 52+ aircraft in tandem with his counterpart Lt. Gen. Avlonitis
