On January 13th 2006 a decoration ceremony took place in Kabul airport, Afghanistan.
Medals were awarded to personnel of several nationalities by KAIA Commander Col. Konstantinos Prionas of Greece for the completion of 30 days of active duty in an Operations Zone.
Amongst those to receive a medal was Greek WO Spiridon Tsagaros
