HAFA’s cadets, Kavgas Alfredos and Delengos Athanasios paid a Cultural visit, according to EUAFA’s exchange programmed, to the University of Defense of the Czech Republic in the city of Brno, from the 5th till the 10th of October 2008. The daily sschedule was full of various activities relevant to the cultural characteristics of Czech Republic.
Except Greek air cadets, participated also cadets of the French, Czech and Turkish Air Force Academies. They were guided to the installations and the laboratories of the Air Force Department of the University of Defence, where they attended lessons in English language, the Air Base of Caslav, where Gripen and L-159 Alca fighting aircrafts operate and the Surveillance RADAR of military flights in Prague. Finally, they participated in a guided tour the Austerlitz Battlefield and also to a former nuclear den, built in a natural cave.
