From Monday, 7 till Friday, 11 May 2012, the Hellenic Air Force Academy organized a cultural week, in the frame of the cooperation among the European Air Force Academies (EUAFA).
A delegation of twelve cadets participated in the events of the European Air Force Academies of France, Germany, the Netherlands and Turkey.
The visiting agenda included a tour in the Hellenic Air Force Academy, in Tatoi and in 120 Air Training Wing/Kalamata Air Base, as well as in the archaeological sites of Mycenae, in Ancient Olympia, the sacred rock of the Acropolis, the museum of Acropolis and the Archaeological and Folklore museum in Kalamata.
In Ancient Olympia, the cadets had the opportunity to watch the ceremony of the Olympic flame relay, for London 2012 summer Olympic Games.
