On Saturday, 2 June 2012, a C-130 aircraft of the Hellenic Air Force safely transferred the eleven-year-old Greek patient along with his family and the medical escort personnel, from Dortmund airport, in Germany to 112 Combat Wing/Elefsina Air Base.
