On Friday, 1 June 2012, the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General (AF) Antonios Tsantirakis attended the Opening of Saint Nicholas Church, in Oropos, which had been built in memory of the Fallen aviator, First Lieutenant (AF) Nikolaos Parousis.
The Church opening was performed by the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Mr. Hieronymos.
