On Friday July 20th 2012, the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of 338 Squadron took place of 117 Combat Wing / Andravida Air Base.
The ceremony was attended by the Chief of the Hellenic Tactical Air Force, Lieutenant General (AF) Fotios Krevaikas, the Hellenic Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff, Major General (AF) Konstantinos Spiroulias, the commanding officers of 117 Combat Wing and Air Tactics Centre, retired commanders, officers and non-commissioned officers, and civil servants who are currently or have been in the past employed at the Squadron, as well as a large number of guests.
