On Tuesday, July 31st, 2012 took place the command handover/takeover ceremony between the Chief of the Hellenic Tactical Air Force HQ, Lieutenant General (AF) Fotios Krevaikas and Lieutenant General (AF) Evangelos Tournas at the 110 Combat Wing / Larisa Air Base.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of National Defence, Mr. Panos Panagiotopoulos, the Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Panagiotis Karabelas, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Mikhail Kostarakos, the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General (AF) Antonios Tsantirakis, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Konstantinos Gkinis, the Commander of the 1st Army, the Commanders of the Hellenic Tactical Air Force units, the personnel of CAOC-7, delegations of Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers of the three branches of the Hellenic Armed and Security Forces, HAF civilian personnel, as well as by delegations of the local civilian and religious authorities.
