Joint Training between 31 SAROS and 352 SOG

From Monday 9 to Friday 20 July 2012, Hellenic Air Force, 31 Search and Rescue Ops Squadron (SAROS) and the US 352 Special Operations Group engaged in joint training operations.

The objectives of the joint training included SAR operations in enemy territory, first aid provision in combat situations, “fast rope” descent, and static line and freefall jumps during day time and night time.

The joint training took place at 112th Combat Wing at Elefsina Air Base, with special training operations taking place in areas of Attica and Boeotia.
