Hellenic Air Force’s Patron Saint Celebration 2015
During the Hellenic Air Force’s Patron Saint celebration, from Thursday the 5th until Sunday the 8th of November 2015, the following activities are scheduled to take place:
Thursday 5th until Sunday 8th of November 2015
- Aircraft deployment for static display in several Air Bases
- Equipment and photo exhibitions on Air Bases
- Aero Clubs’ activities on Air Bases
- Fighter aircraft flights over Border Islands
- Historic exhibition at SYNTAGMA metro station (6 to 12 of November)
Thursday, November 5th, 2015
- 20:00: Musical event at the Athens Concert Hall, with the participation of Vasilis Skoulas, Gerasimos Andreatos and the Hellenic Air Force Band, during which an award ceremony for the Veterans who participated in the Korean War and in “NIKI” Operation in Cyprus will be held

Sunday, November 8th 2015
- 08:00: Wreath Laying to the Unknown Soldier’s Monument by the Chief of Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General Christos Vaitsis
- 11:00: Memorial Service and Wreath Laying to the Fallen Aviators’ Monument at Dekeleia Air Base, Tatoi
- 11:00: Official Celebration – Doxology Ceremony at Dekeleia Air Base, Tatoi
The Hellenic Air Force Bases will be accessible to the public on the following days and hours:
- Thursday 5, Friday 6 and Saturday 7 of November 2015 from 09:00 to 17:00
- Sunday, November 8th 2015 from 13:00 to 17:00

Saturday, November 7th 2015
- 12:00, Floisvos, Palaio Faliro: Solo display by HAF F-16 Demo Team “Zeus”, T-6A Texan II Demo Team “Daedalus” and Super Puma helicopter
- 12:00, Alexandroupoli: Solo display by HAF F-16 Demo Team “Zeus” and T-6A Texan II Demo Team “Daedalus”
Sunday, November 8th 2015
- 13:30, 111 Combat Wing/Nea Anchialos Air Base: Solo display by HAF F-16 Demo Team “Zeus” and T-6A Texan II Demo Team “Daedalus”
- 14:00, 115 Combat Wing/Souda Air Base: Solo display by HAF F-16 Demo Team “Zeus”
