On Friday, December 11, 2015, the former Royal Air Force (RAF) Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sir Michael James Graydon, and current Chairman of Battle of Britain Memorial Trust, visited 112 Combat Wing (112CW) where he was welcomed by the Commander, Colonel Fotios Tzallas, in order to lay a wreath at the Monument of Fallen Aviators during the 28 October 1940 – 31 May 1941 period.
