On Friday October 14th, 2016, the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff (HAFGS), Lt. General (I) Christos Vaitsis honored the Air Force Academy with his presence as it celebrated the graduation of fifty five (55) students; forty five (45) of which were of Greek origin, six (6) were Cypriot, one (1) from Montenegro, one (1) from Bosnia-Herzegovina and two (2) from Jordan.
Amongst those present at the Graduation Ceremony, were the Metropolitan of Kifisia and Oropo, Mr. Kyrillos, representatives of Chiefs and staff of the Hellenic Armed and Security Forces, the HAFGS Chief, high-ranking officials of the Hellenic Air Force, foreign delegations, representatives of local political and religious authorities and friends and family of the new graduates
