On Monday January 16th, the Administrative Council for Foreign Affairs and Defence, under the Prime Minister’s presidency, made the following decisions:
The former Chief of the Hellenic Tactical Air Force (HTAF), Lt. General (I) Christos Christodoulou, has assumed the role of the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff (HAFGS).
Lt. General (I) Christos Vaitsis has been formally relieved from his duties as the Chief of the HAFGS and has retired honorably under the title of “General,” while he is to be granted the “HAFGS Honorary Chief” award.
