On Friday, March 23, 2018, the “INIOCHOS 2018” Multinational Aviation exercise was completed, which took place from Monday the 12th until Friday the 23rd of March, 2018, at Andravida Air Base.
During the exercise, complex aviation missions (land surface attacks, surface targets, enemy Air Defense, and Survival and Rescue in a Combat Environment) were performed during day and night time in the surrounding area of Athens FIR, aiming at enhancing the collaboration of the participants in a meaningful, effective and secure manner at a steady rhythm of battle.
The exercise was attended by a large number of air forces from our country, but also from the United States of America, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Italy, the State of Israel and Cyprus, as well as forces from the Hellenic Army and Navy.
