On Wednesday, June 6th, 2018, the Chief of the Hellenic Tactical Air Force (HTAF), Lieutenant General(P) George Blioumis attended the inauguration of the new building of the Combined Air Operations Center Torrejon (CAOC TJ), where Lieutenant General Ruben Severt greeted him.
The inauguration took place in the presence of the Commander of the United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE), Air Forces Africa (AFAFRICA) and Commander of the NATO Allied Forces, General Tod D. Wolters. Including others, the Spanish Army Chief of Staff, General Fernando Martinez, Ambassadors, as well as civilian and military personnel from NATO countries attended the ceremony.
