The two Greek Air Force Squadron 335 and 336 (Hurricane aircraft), established in the Middle East, in co-operation with the 74th, 94th, 21st, 238th, 45th, 227th and 252rd Allied Squadrons (Hurricane, Spitfire and Beau fighter) participated in “Thetis” mission, which was an air raid mission against German targets in Crete.
