Visit of HAFGS to the United Arab Emirates
On Tuesday, October 16th 2018, the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff (HAFGS), Lieutenant General Christos Christodoulou, hold a formal meeting at Al-Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he was greeted by the Commander of the Air Forces and Air Defence of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Major General (P) Ibrahim Naser Al-Alawi.
During his visit, they discussed issues of mutual interest regarding the development of the Air Forces, as well as issues of cooperation between the two Air Forces in terms of training.
In addition, the Chief visited the War Memorial “Oasis of Dignity”, he was informed on the work and mission of the Al-Dhafra Air Base, and he visited the facilities of the 2nd Squadron and the Air Warfare Center.
