Official Celebration of the HAF Patron
The official celebration of the Patron of the HAF, Archangel Michael, took place on Thursday November 8th, at the Air Force Academy in Dekeleia, Tatoi. The Minister of Defense, Mr. Panos Kammenos and the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff (HAFGS), Lieutenant General Christos Christodoulou honored the celebration with their presence.
Amongst those present, were also the MP Mr. Dimitris Emmanouilidis, who was there on behalf of the President of Parliament, representatives of the Parliamentary parties, the Metropolitan of Iliou, Acharnon, and Petroupoleos, Mr. Athenagoras, the State Secretary of National Defense, Mrs. Maria Kollia-Tsaroucha, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff (HNDGS), Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis HN, the Ambassador of USA in Greece, Mr. Geoffrey R. Pyatt, the Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff (HNGS), Vice Admiral Nikolaos Tsounis HN, the Chief of the Hellenic Coast Guard, Vice Admiral Stamatios Raptis, Chief representatives of the Hellenic Army, Chiefs of Security Forces, delegations of Officers from the Hellenic Armed Forces and Hellenic Security Forces, Former Chiefs of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff and the Hellenic Air Force General Staff, representatives from Veterans Associations, HAF civilian personnel, country representatives, and local authorities.
