Ceremony for the Transfer of Duties of Chief of Tactical Air Force Command
On Tuesday, February 5th 2019, at the 110 Combat Wing at the Larissa Air Base, in the presence of the Minister of National Defense Evangelos Apostolakis, the ceremony for the transfer of duties of the Chief of Tactical Air Force Command from Lieutenant General Georgios Blioumis to Lieutenant General Themistoklis Bourolias took place.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of National Defence, Panagiotis Rigas, the Honorable Metropolitan of Larissa and Tirnabos, Ieronimos, Chief of National Defense General Staff, General Christos Christodoulou, Chief of Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kampas, the Commander of the First Army, Lieutenant General Konstantinos Floros, Fleet Commander, Vice Admiral Stylianos Petrakis, senior Officers of the Hellenic Air Force, the Chiefs of the Air Force Tactical Command branches, delegations of Officers and noncommissioned Officers of the Armed Forces and Security Forces, the distinguished Chiefs of the Air Force General Staff and Tactical Air Force Command, delegations of unions of retired military personnel, Air Force personnel as well as representatives of local religious and state authorities.
