On Friday, June 14 2019, at the Air Training Center (ATC) at Andravida Air Base, the graduation ceremony for the first Air – Air Warfare Training Course (A2WTC) class for 2019 took place.
A2WTC is an international course that aims to improve the operational abilities of fighter aircraft crew and ground Air Defence controllers, through exposure to realistic and demanding aerial combat scenarios. The trainees are guided through the full spectrum of Air Defense Operations and Aerial Combat Tactics through two (2) weeks of intensive flying. The 1st class of 2019 was attended by observers from Israel, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.
The graduates were awarded their certificates by the Commander of the ATC, Colonel Konstantinos Zolotas.
