On Friday, April 12, 2024, the Distinguished Visitors Day (DV DAY) of the Multinational Air Exercise “HNIOCHOS 24” took place at the Air Tactics Center (ATC) at Andravida Air Base.
The Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Ioannis Kefalogiannis, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Houpis and the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General Dimosthenis Grigoriadis, delivered a greeting speech.
During DV-DAY, the guests were briefed on the conduct of the Exercise by the Commander of the ATC, Brigadier General Matthaios Kanoupakis, watched the passage of fighter aircraft formations and toured the premises of the WHITE CELL of the participating forces.
The Distinguished Visitors Day was attended by:

- Ambassadors to Greece of Austria, Mrs. Gerda Vogl, France, Mr. Laurence Auer and Germany, Mr. Andreas Kindl.
- the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis and the Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice Admiral Dimitrios Eleftherios Kataras HN.
- the Commander of the Qatari Emiri Air Force, Major General (P) Jassim Mohammed Ahmed Al-Mannai, the Commander of the Montenegrin Air Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Bovan Popadic, the Chief of the Romanian Air Force Staff, Major General Leonard-Gabriel Baraboi and the Commander of the Cyprus Air Force Command, Brigadier General Christos Christou.
- the Chief of the Hellenic Tactical Air Force, Lieutenant General Panagiotis Georgakopoulos, Senior Officers of the Armed Forces, as well as the Defence Attaches in Athens of Austria, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain and Saudi Arabia.
