On Thursday, November 14, and Friday, November 15, 2024, the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff (HAFGS), Lieutenant General Dimosthenis Grigoriadis, participated in the NATO Air Chiefs Symposium (NACS), held in Ramstein, Germany.
During the Symposium, a comprehensive briefing was provided on the aerial developments in the ongoing war in Ukraine. Discussions focused on topics such as the operational implementation of NATO’s Integrated Air and Missile Defense system, as well as the management, coordination, and execution of air missions.
Additionally, issues related to maintaining readiness and interoperability among Alliance members were highlighted, with particular emphasis on further developing Air and Space Power. Finally, the action plan for preparing and conducting military operations across various scenarios was discussed, aiming to enhance the Alliance’s deterrence and defense capabilities.
