On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff, Lieutenant General (P) Dimosthenis Grigoriadis, participated in the “European F-35 Air Chiefs Meeting” following an invitation from the Commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Africa & Commander of Allied Air Command, General James B. Hecker, and the Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force, Lieutenant General Luca Goretti.
The meeting took place at Amendola Air Base in Italy, with the participation of Air Force Chiefs and representatives from Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Italy, Israel, Canada, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, and Finland. During the meeting, specialized topics were discussed regarding the maintenance and support of the F-35, as well as the training of personnel on this specific aircraft type.
