Exercise “Ramstein Flag 25”

From Monday, March 31, to Friday, April 11, 2025, the large-scale tactical exercise “Ramstein Flag 2025” is set to take place.

The exercise involves Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Spain, Italy, Canada, Hungary, the Netherlands, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, the Czech Republic, and Finland, with more than 90 aircraft operating from bases in the Netherlands, Denmark, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Our country is participating with five F-16 Viper aircraft and the corresponding flying and technical personnel from the 115 Combat Wing.

The exercise will include combined air operations with joint cooperation in a demanding operational environment, such as:

  • Countering Anti-Access/Area Denial (C-A2AD) threats
  • Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD)
  • Agile Combat Employment (ACE)
  • Seamless information exchange among Allies

Following the success of RAFL24 in Greece, where 130 aircraft participated and 2,000 combat sorties were executed, RAFL25 is setting new standards for operational integration across air, land, sea, cyberspace, and space.
