On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, the Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff (HAFGS), Lieutenant General Dimosthenis Grigoriadis, attended the Distinguished Visitors Day (DV Day) of exercise Ramstein Flag 25, held at Leeuwarden Air Base in the Netherlands.
During DV Day, guests were briefed on the execution of the exercise, observed flyovers by formations of fighter aircraft, and toured the Operations Center of the participating forces. Following the official program, the Chief visited and spoke with the flying and technical personnel of the 115 Combat Wing participating in the exercise.
In addition to Greece, participating nations include Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. More than 90 aircraft are taking part, operating from bases in the Netherlands, Denmark, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
