On Friday, October 10th, 2025, the graduation ceremony for the 5th/25 “Link-22 Foundation Course”, 6th/25 “SSSB Administrator Courses and 9th/25 “SSSB Operator Course” took place at Air and Missile Defence Training Centre (Dekelia Air Base).
The certificates were awarded by Colonel Zisis Charisopoulos, Commander of the Air and Missile Defence Training Centre.
There were 27 participants from NATO member states: Greece, Poland, Italy, France, UK, Norway and Canada.
The scope of the “SSSB Administrator – Operator” courses is to provide training on the management and operational procedures of the Ship-Shore-Ship Buffer (SSSB) sys-tem, for tactical data exchange between air – naval forces and their associated air defence ground environment units.
The scope of the “Link-22” course is to provide training for NATO Tactical Data Link-22. Link-22 is a secure beyond-line-of-sight communication capability that increases joint and coalition communications in the surface, sub-surface, land, and air domains by providing unprecedented situational awareness across the battle space.
