From 23 September to 3 October 2025, the 354 Tactical Airlift Squadron of the 112 Combat Wing, Elefsina Air Base, participated in the Multinational Exercise European Spartan 2025, hosted at Bezmer Air Base, Bulgaria.
The Hellenic Air Force detachment participated with C-27J aircraft and the required support personnel, alongside allied forces from Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania and Spain.
The exercise included tactical airlift missions, parachute and cargo drops, medical evacuation (MEDEVAC), as well as complex tactical scenarios. Through these activities, the exercise enhanced interoperability among allied forces, aligned operational procedures, and contributed to the continuous improvement of operational readiness and joint effectiveness.
