From Monday, September 22 to Friday, October 10, 2025, the 337 Squadron (337Sq) of the 110 Combat Wing, based at Larissa Air Base, participated in the multinational exercise “VOLFA 2025,” held at Mont de Marsan Air Base in France.
The Hellenic Air Force took part with four F-16 aircraft and the corresponding support personnel. Forces from Canada, Italy and the United Kingdom also participated in the exercise.
Numerous Composite Air Operations (COMAO) were conducted, involving more than 50 aircraft, in scenarios designed to provide training under realistic, high-intensity combat conditions, both day and night. The exercise aimed to enhance interoperability, readiness, and combat effectiveness among the participating nations’ units.
