Description
The Beechcraft King Air 350 is a twin-turboprop aircraft and is used for air transport of patients.
The Hellenic Air Force owns two Beechcraft King Air 350C since 2021, donated by Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), aiming to enhance the capacity and efficiency of the air transport of the to the National Emergency Aid Centre. The aircraft have the ability of transporting two patients and are equipped with a special mechanism for lifting the stretchers. In addition, the aircraft include incubator transport infrastructure for the transfer of hatchlings.
The Beechcraft King Air 350 belong to 356 Tactical Transport Squadron «Hercules», located at Elefsina Air Base.
