One of the best airplanes of its era, it must have been bought shortly before or during the beginning of the Balkan Wars. It was clearly superior to the Henry Farman III due to its greater horsepower and better design. In October 1912 it was based in Larissa. In mid-November it was transferred in Nikopolis, where, along with the Maurice Farman airplanes, they formed the Epirus Air Navigation Detachment. It was crashed and destroyed during one of the multiple recon flights it performed, probably near the end of December.
