Greece acquired one Bat-boat in the summer of 1914. It was originally based in Elefsina airfield and later in Palaio Faliro, where it remained until 1917, when it was destroyed during a sea landing. It was often mentioned with the nickname “donkey”, which is quite enlightening regarding its flying qualities.
