They were the principal Naval Flying Corps fighters from 1918 to 1921. They were used for the first time by the “Z” Greek Squadron, in August 1917, in the Aegean Sea, where they operated intensively until the end of the war. They were extensively used In the Asia Minor campaign and, along with other fighters, established the supremacy of the Hellenic Flying Corps during the first half of the campaign. Because of its extensive use, but also due to its old age that came along, they were rendered unsuitable for use, thus leaving a huge gap in the fighter sector.
