Together with the SPAD XIII and the Nieuports, they composed the fighter fleet of the Greek-French fighter squadrons during WWI. They were later extensively used during the Asia Minor campaign, up until the end of the hostilities. Unfortunately, the reports of their operations make no distinction between the VII and the XIII types, making historical research difficult.
