In 1945 the 13th Squadron was equipped with the Vickers Wellington Mk XIIΙ, delivered by the British. Some of the Greek airplanes were equipped with ASV radar and crews from the 13th Squadron were trained in its use. At least 19 of them were delivered (small numbers of the T.10 variation were also included) and their principal service as a transport aircraft ended in 1947, after the arrival of the C-47.
