Lieutenant General Apostolos Chortis

Lieutenant General Apostolos Chortis is the Commander of the Hellenic Air Force Support Command (HAFSC).

He is responsible for the control, planning and development of the Hellenic Air Force supply system, in order to safeguard the efficient operation of its systems and means.

In addition, he is responsible for the operational sustainability of aircraft and helicopters of special missions and public utilities (Firefighting, Search & Rescue and Medevac).

He was born in Athens.

Education

He joined the Hellenic Air Force Academy in 1985 and graduated in 1989, as a 2nd Lieutenant.
