Major General Panagiotis Kostopoulos

Major General Panagiotis Kostopoulos (MD) is the Director of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff (HAFGS) Medical Directorate.

He coordinates and guides all Air Force Healthcare Professionals, determines health policy and medical support and controls independent medical units as is the 251 Hellenic Air Force General Hospital, Supreme Medical Committee and Center of Aviation Medicine.

He was born in Athens.

Education

He joined the Military School of Combat Support Officers in 1978 and graduated in 1984 as a 2^nd Lieutenant.

He graduated from:

He is a certified gastroenterologist.

He speaks English.
