Major General Diamantis Sourris

Major General Diamantis Sourris is the Director of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff (HAFGS) Air Defence Directorate.

He is responsible for matters concerning the organization, design and operation of the Active and Passive Air Defense, the Airspace management and the proper use of the National and NATO Air Command and Control Systems.

He was born in Samos.

Education

He joined the Hellenic Air Force Academy in 1985 and graduated in 1989 as a 2nd Lieutenant.
